A sad reminder of an earlier time when health care was most needed.
In the 17/1800s those that died of Cholera were thourght to be possesed by
evil sprits, and were not allowed to be burried with the righitios christians.
So they were burried at the highest point possible, where the evil sprits
would be blown away and not infecct others, dead or living!
